Polk County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm who is in custody, verify a release, obtain an official booking record, post bond, or take action in a case. Contact the public office that created or holds the record for an official answer.

Official Polk County Records Routes

For a current Polk County Jail question, an inmate-information request, or a Sheriff-created report, begin with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The appropriate route depends on whether you need present custody, a report or records check, a court case, or a state-prison record.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Jail

Address: 850 Main Street, Dallas, OR 97338
Main, patrol, and records: 503-623-9251
Jail records: 503-623-9254
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; holidays closed.

Use the official Inmates in Custody roster for the county’s current-custody view. It updates hourly and does not publish booking photos. When the roster does not resolve an inmate question, use the Sheriff’s inmate-information request form. A person missing from the roster may be unprocessed, released, transferred, or outside the Polk County Jail system.

Reports, records checks, and available media

The Sheriff’s Reports & Records Checks page and its request form are the starting point for Sheriff-created reports, records checks, and potentially releasable media. The published pricing is $15 for the first 15 report pages and $1 for each additional page; a name or address research check is $15; and releasable photos, if available, are $25 on CD. Requests are processed as time allows, with a response within five business days. Those fees do not promise that a booking photograph can be released, because Oregon law generally restricts law-enforcement release of booking photos.

A city police report belongs with the city department that created it, even if a person was later held in the Polk County Jail. The Sheriff does not release another agency’s reports or juvenile reports.

Court and statewide record paths

Polk County Circuit Court: 850 Main Street, Dallas, OR 97338; 503-623-3154; weekdays 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The court is the source for case progression and disposition, rather than the jail roster. Start with the official Polk County Circuit Court page or the Oregon Judicial Department’s online services for case and court-date options.

For a sentenced person in state custody, use the Oregon Department of Corrections offender search. It is not a live Polk County Jail roster. Federal custody is separate and may be checked through the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator; the national ICE detainee locator applies only within its own stated custody scope.
